Emily – Bent’s Opera House

The inspiration for this session came from a vision I had of a beautiful lady, dressed in a beautiful dress, posing in a old rundown building or room.  An unnatural combination that would contrast with each other, but look beautiful at the same time.

In my search for a location, I had the opportunity to tour the old Opera House on Main Street in Medina. I immediately fell in love with the old peeling paint, cracks in the walls, and worn look.  I knew that I had to do the photo session there, and fortunately I got permission to do so.

Emily was my immediate choice for this session. She is so beautiful, all I had to do was make sure to get the dresses and props, and remember to take properly exposed photos! Emily was a first time model, and I think she knocked it out of the park.
