A week ago today (July 12th, 2019), I had the great privilege of shooting a swimsuit session at Hamlin Beach with the stunning Abby! Abby and I had talked about shooting this last summer, but the weather, schedules, and timing was off so we postponed it to this year. It was well worth the wait!

I had the greatest pleasure of shooting a family portrait session yesterday afternoon at Hamlin Beach State Park. It actually turned out to be a fantastic day to go to the beach. It was quite hot and a bit humid, but with a slight breeze coming off of the lake, it was very comfortable.

This session was actually Sara’s second session with me, but only the first session that is available to be seen by the public. Sara is very eager to model, and she brought her husband along to help with wardrobe and to help me with the reflector disk that I like to use for sessions like this.

I was very excited when Brittany contacted me to do a beach session at Hamlin Beach State Park. It turned out to be one of those days where it was hot and humid, and it actually rained a couple times while we were shooting as well. Thankfully there are plenty of areas in the park to get in out of the rain until it stopped.

This was my second session with Allie at Hamlin Beach, and my third session with her overall, and unlike Allie’s first session at Hamlin Beach, that was cut short by the weather – this session lasted for a few hours. We wanted to get some sunset shots, so that gave us plenty of spare time to explore and experiment with different shots and things, and of course we had plenty of time to just talk about things as well.
