Last Sunday marked the end of the 2019 Mariah Meadows Horse Show Season. Yes, other shows do continue on through out the entire year at various locations, but for me, after shooting through the winter months for one season, I decided to take winters off for a break from it all.

Yesterday marked the beginning of a new horse show season for me! I say “for me”, because technically a horse show season doesn’t really end! Most of the riders and competitors compete all year long. During the summer the events are held outside. During the winter, the events move into large indoor arenas.

This past Saturday (Sept 22nd) marked the successful conclusion of the 2018 Mariah Meadows Fun Show series season. Technically, there is still one more show to go – the awards / fun game show, where they present the awards for this seasons winners, plus a series of “just for fun” patterns for the riders to compete in. Hence the use of the words “sort of” in the title. 😊
